Ingredients
Pearl barley – 50 g
Salted Baltic herring – 36 g
Red onion (sliced) – 30 g
Black bread (in cubes) – 20 g
Brown Sugars – 6 g (1 teaspoon)
Pine nuts – 10 g (2 teaspoons)
Nasturtium leaves – 2 g (4 leaves)
Basil – 2 g (4 leaves)
Instruction
- Rinse the barley under cold water and leave to soak for 2-3 h.
- Pour the barley into a saucepan with water (1 part barley to 4 parts of water) and boil for 30-35 min.
- Peel the onions, cut into large slices, sprinkle with Sugars, place in a baking pan and cook in a preheated oven at 200 ⁰C for 8 min.
- Transfer all ingredients into the serving plate and spice up with a dressing.
We recommend homemade mayonnaise, fig jam and balsamic vinegar dressing!
